Hi Nimesh,

Do you even see the authentication type drop down when you log in?

Hi Nimesh,

You need to change the "authentication.visible" setting to true in the web.xml which is located in Tomcat55\webapps\InfoViewApp\WEB-INF folder. Then restart Tomcat

Hi Nimesh,

In the CMC, under Authentication can you see SAP listed? If so when you click on it, is it enabled?

Hi Alan,

In CMC its yes I can see, But in Infoview login page I can't see SAP as Authentication type.

I login to CMC and configure the SAP too. as well as enable SAP authentication in CMC.

But i need to login to Infoview using SAP authentication but I can't because I can't see SAP option in Infoview Login Page.

Thanks,

Nimesh.

Hi Ingo,

I can see in CMC login page drop down menu of authenrication.

I didn't tried to redeploy infoview. Do i need to redeploy Infoview or other tomcat instance too.

hi,

that would be my first try.

go to the folder of TOMCAT (there should be a folder webapps with InfoView underneath).

stop tomcat, Delete the InfoView and InfoViewApp folder, restart tomcat.

the redeploy should happen then automatically

Hi Ingo,

I tried the given method as well as i tried with wdeploy and undeploy all instance and redeploy that but still no luck.

Is it something to do with Webapps folder under warfiles and modify or check something there.

Thanks,

Nimesh.

Hi Nimesh,

#1

delete the folders :

InfoView

InfoviewApp

PartnerPlatformServices

SAP

from the Tomcat folder.

#2

run the bat-file: partnercafinstall.bat from \Program Files\Business Objects\common\4.0\java\lib

#3

redeploy the web apps (restart tomcat)
