Can you provide a screenshot to make the people understand what you mean by customer tab.
SAP Standard FD01 has no "customer" tab, the whole transaction is called create customer, but within is no customer tab.
If there is really a customer tab, then it means in the sense of the word it is made by the customer, which is your IT department, and nobody here in the community can know what your IT department put onto this tab and for what reason. In this case you have to ask inhouse.
