    Hi,

POS is separate component (application software). That application use in retail store for billing purpose. There is no any relation to ABAP

    HI Venki

POS is Point of Sale - a non SAP application software widely used in all Retail Stores for Billing & Tendering purposes . It can be categoried in to Simple POS , sophisticated POS based on the functionalities Applicable in that software.

All the transactional datas in store POS system ( Sales receipt , Payments )will be sent to SAP system for further Planning & updation in SAP ,which is called Day End report - INBOUND

Similarly all Master datas like Article, Prices, Barcodes, Merchandise categories will be sent to POS System from SAP -OUTBOUND

POS has no relation with ABAP , however Datas from POS as an Idoc in Database server will be sent to Application Server by ABAP Report..

    Regards

    Anis
