Batch UDF is not enabled

Dear Experts,

When we add GRPO in that Batch No System is defined content like UDF (only pieces) defined pieces (Steel) & quantity. Through Inventory Transfer enter the data like quantity & pieces, when we transfer the quantity from one W/H to another W/H only the quantity is transferred not the pieces. Could you help me out from these problem that pieces (Steel) field is not enabled (in short Button is Disabled mode) from that pieces transaction will be tracked(Calculation of pieces will be tracked).

I did not understand the query. You are posting GRPO. But where u get the UDF- Batch/Steel.

Hello Sir,

Procedure: Item is define Batch Level when I add GRPO I entered the details in Batches u2013Setup Window UDF (Eg : like Pieces, Qty, Dia(mm), Heat No etc).After that I transfer the Qty through Inventory Transfer Window after new window is open Batch Number Selection under that (Sub Heading Window Available Batches) Qty & Pieces fields. Selected Quantity field is enabled but Pieces field is Disabled So, I need to transfer the Qty & pieces both from 1 W/H to Another 2 W/H so I faced the problem in that Window. How I can enable the pieces field in that Available Batches window so pieces tracking will be easy for Report Generation.

Please help me out from this problem.

Hi Amol,

As much as I understand that the pcs which you are talking abuut is he inventory Uom. Please check in the master data > inventory tab> Inventory UoM Field for that item whether the UoM defined is Pcs? Now when you are transfering the quantitythen it is evident that each quantity will be a pc. 1Qty= 1pc.

So this is retrieved from the master data and you cannot change it.

It will be better if you tell your requirement, so as to why this has to be edited. What is the report you want to draw?

Hi Raj,

Actually Qty is in (Kg) Form & pieces is in number form so that quantity field we enter the numeric value but not in (UDF) Pieces Field. Selected quantity field is enable but in Pieces field 5 but I canu2019t change the figure.

In Batch Window can we change the UDF Field SAP B1 version is SAP 2007B1
