To run same report, paralley to download muliple files frm application ser.

Hi Sap GURUS,

I have a requirement , where I have to run the report to download all the files in application server to presentation server parallely, in specfic directory created for pricing.

There are 10 to 50 files in application server. I have written a program to download the data from application server to presentation server.

However it will pick each file one at time, & download to presentation server, which is not required. I want same report to run parallely for each file, download the data to presentation server simultaneously.

Now How to do I make the same program to run parallely for each different file,to download data from application server.

Your feedback is highly appreciated.

Regards

Harikrishna

You can execute the same report with different set of variants. There must be some difference in each files at application server.

      Hi,

I am running the report once, i cannot run the report by creating variants in different sessions. All the file names are in internal table when executing the report.

For different files, the same report has to run simultaneously . where is question of varints.

      Could you be more clear.

      Regards

    Hi,

In that case create a main program which would have all the file names in internal table.

Create another program which uses the file name from Main program & uploads the file from application server & downloads to presentation server.

Use SUBMIT & return statement to call the 2nd program.

    Best regards,

    Prashant
