I'm looking for guidance on how to start setting up the different pieces in an S4 (RTC) - Embedded BW/BPC landscape. As I understand it, there is a configuration layer in S4 that defines the integration points between the General Ledger and Consolidation; there is then the Embedded BW layer where the standard content needs to be installed and other info objects set up; there is then the HANA views piece to join the S4 and BW worlds and finally the BPC setup in terms of defining the info providers and mapping them to models within BPC.
Is there a how-to or any sort of guide on how to plan / perform some of these tasks? For instance, talking about BPC setup, where do I begin: There is no Environment to start with so how do I create one in the Embedded world? Also, there is a lot of standard content that got installed - am I to only look at infoobjects in the /ERP namespace? Which ones do I use to set up my BPC consolidation model?
