Crystal Reports XI and Sage Pro ERP / VFP database

I am a little hesitant to post here as I am somewhat a rookie with this, but I am looking for some guidance on utilizing CR with a VFP back end databse with a ACCPAC Sage Pro ERP system.

The ERP system uses a current and history table for say sales order transactions and I am having a difficult time querying the data from both of these table when the table structure is exactly the same.

Any guidance of hint would be more than appreciated. I have built a great little open order report because it doesn ot need to query the histroy file, but anytime I need both current and history information, say comparative sales information on a customer, I am dead.
