Action Log for TR could not be viewd

Hi,

I could not view the Action log for a Transport Request.

I goto sE09, Select the tR and select option Goto--> Action Log

I get the following message

Log File: /usr/sap/trans/actlog/DEV12351232.DEV

No log entries found

I have checked the TRANS_DIR directory and the settings is correct

we have only one single transport group

DIRTRANS is also specified correctly

I have even checked the Profile files

Pls help of what can be the reason for the same

Understood that we have to manually create the folder actlog. We have created it now

Usually one actlog file is created by each transport with format <sid>Z<transport_number>.<sid>, if the transport was released "successfully" then a file was created... check if the file is actually in the directory if its not at /usr/sap/trans/actlog/ most likely it was deleted manually.
