Adobe Forms - SPECIAL_DATA setting ? Not. created w/o setting SPECIAL_DATA

Hi,

I wanted to know at what point does the data from the form gets set as ISR SPECIAL DATA.

Here is the scenario we are facing in the Production System:

A new form is submitted with all the data. The form is linked to a PCR Scenario which inturn is linked to an approval workflow. The approval workflow determines the Personnel Number using ISR_SPECIAL_DATA_GET for which the form was submitted to determine the possible approvers (Matrix organization with complex approval logic).

We checked the Workflow Logs and it shows that ISR_SPECIAL_DATA_GET could not retrieve the data from the form at the moment the workflow was triggered (The workflow triggers once the PCR form is submitted/sent by the requestor)

However, when I run the FM now, the data shows correctly (ISR_SEPCIAL_DATA_GET).

Is it possible, that the Workflow was triggered before the data was uploaded into the XML format thus causing the ISR_SPECIAL_DATA_GET to fail. If so, what is the work around and why does this happen?

This issue has never occured in Development, String or Integration Test but has occured 4 times in Production System and we have no clue why this is occuring.

Any help will be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Vijay

    Hi Suda,

We have to face the same problem in our QA system, for some Notification the FM ISR_SPECIAL_DATA_GET doesn't retrieve the special data. Did you found out any solution to this issue ?

    Regards

    • Hi Suda

Did you solve this issue. The FM ISR_SPECIAL_DATA_GET is populating the values correctly. When ever i am not using this am getting values correctly at the moment my badi calls this FM ISR_SPECIAL_DATA_GET am getting wrong data. Am using R/3 4.7 and EP 6. Did you found any notes for this. Can you share with me?

      Regards
