Sales value in credit management

Hi Gurus,

Please help to explain term Sales value by using my example -

Receivables- 100

Credit Limit - 500

Sales value - 1000

Credit exposure- 1100

Horizon - 06.04.2009

Now when I check VA05 for open sales orders the figure is much less than the sales value?

Kindly verify how and what does Sales value constitutes off?

Thanks & Regards

Bawa

Hi Bawa,

You can break the sales value down into open orders, open deliveries and open billing documents.

So it will be always greater than the open Sales order total seen in VA05.

Since your Horizon is of say 4 months, the documents whichever is open till 06.04.2009 will be considered as the Sales value.

Thanks for your reply!

But just to clarify that when I go to FD32 and extras - sales value- it pops up a window and shows Open order as 1100 and nothing in Open Del or Open Billing doc!

Does this mean that Open Order here consist of Open Del & Open Billing doc?

Kindly explain to clarify this doubt.

Thanks again!

Thanks for replying!

Just wondering that when I go in FD32 -extras-sales value, it is same 1100 in open order and nothing in open del and open bill docs!

This is bit confusin that when I compare it with VA05 report which is showing Net Value well less than sales value.

Kindly clarify...

Hi Bawa

As the credit limit is 500 . But the Receivables is 100 and the sales value is 1000 and the credit exposed is 1100

Now when you check VA05 the sales value will be less because there are Receivables worth 100 so i if i

am not wrong the sales value should be showing 900. because it lesses the receivables value
