Hello everyone,
Iu2019ve just installed a fresh SAP R/3 Enterprise on HP UNIX B.11 u2013 Oracle 9.2.0.4.0.
Upgraded its kernel to 640 u2013 Sup.Pkg lvl. 247
Iu2019m facing a problem while applying SAP_BASIS 640 u2013 18 no. patch.
While applying SAPKB62018 patch the process seems to go on forever (The stopwatch goes on ticking and says 'TP user check OK'.
When I stop the transaction I see that the status shows a red indication (Error Stop). The u2018Import phaseu2019 points at u2018 DISASSEMBLEu2019.
SPAM/SAINT patch latest - 32 level.
SAP_ABA 620 patch application went on fine - Its at level 65 now
Dont know whats going wrong with SAP_BASIS SAPKB62018
I've tried applying the same patch again, downloaded the 18 no. patch again and tried it. I've even tried restarting the server. 😛
Still no success..

Please help......
Thank you,
Pranay
check the "import monitor" and the "tp system log" in STMS to see the status of the patch... that will give you a better understanding of whats going on.
Post any errors here.

Juan

HI
PLEASE USE THE BELOW SOLUTION IT WORKED:
MAIN ISSUE CAN BE DUE TO:
WARNING: /usr/sap/trans/tmp/<sid>.LOB is already in use (290), I'm waiting 1 sec (20130416171742). My name: pid 3598 on cnhp0030 (rs0a
Solution: Rename this LOB file and start the import, will work.
