I have configured an Alert email configuration in SAP PO. It is not working. Alerts are not sent. I am working on SAP PO 7.5 and my PO system is in cloud.
Here we don't have a dedicated SMTP server. Our smtp server host is smtp.gmail.com. It's configured on Gmail
I am not sure whether my configurations are correct. I have created the configs in ID. the confusion is regarding the SMTP settings in NWA. The network team have created an alert mail id, POALERTNOTIFICATION@xyz.COM. I have entered these details.
mail.smtp.host IP address (this public ip address is used in S4hana SCOT transaction too)
mail.smtp.password
mail.smtp.port
mail.smptp.user maintained this value, POALERTNOTIFICATION@xyz.COM
Do I have to maintain anything more other then these?
