problem with client copy

dear sap basisers:

when i did my job client copy there was a error message as follow:

"convt_codepage

at the conversion of a text from codepage '1100' to codepage '8000' "

now i can login in client 100 with all users which belong to client 000

some information about my job:

copy from 000 to 100

non-unicode system

profile:sap_all

gui language:japanese

someone who can tell me how to solve this problem,thanks a lot.

i changed profile to"sap_cust"

the client copy has been success

but i can not login in client 100 with users which belong to client 000

is the profile "sap_cust" doesn't contain user data?

should i reset the user in client 100?

and i still can not solve the problem"convt_codepage"

i am working on that

Hi,

I believe as being your system non-unicode and secondly you are using Japanese language through your sapgui.

Can you check logging it using English as sapgui language?

Hi,

logging with users from client 000 works because of SAP_ALL profile (which copies everthing - users included). And conversion error ... hmm ... sth not working or its just a message?

it canceled by the error message "convt_codepage"

but the log shows all the tables have been copied

the client 100 can work successfully,but sap* can not login with password "PASS"
