Solved: Crystal Reports Add-on error on workstations

I have Crystal Reports 2008 installed with Business One, but I can only get the reports to run if I'm working on the server. At any other workstation, I get a Microsoft .Net Framework error when I try to run a Crystal Report from SAPB1. I followed the instructions that came with the CR download, and can start the add-on from within SAPB1. The links to Crystal Reports show up in the B1 main menu, and I can get into all the administration settings. I've tried re-installing the .Net framework, but I still get the error.

Hi, my first installation of the add-on also produced similar errors.

What I discovered was;

- the Crystal Report DSN (Crystal-Database-Set Location) needed to reference the SQL Server/database and not just the database name as when I designed the report.

- the CrystalDesignerPath.txt reference must be withing quotes (" ") when there are spaces in the path name.

At the time of making addon ,you have to include CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine package .

Hi everybody

There is a solution to this problem.

1. Put all your Crystal Reports in a share folder from the server.

2. Install in the client:

SapCrystalsetup.exe

dotnetframework_3.5

CrRuntime_12_o_mlb.exe

In the client login with the manager user, connect the add-on and set Account Setup.

In the Manage Crystal Report Window you have to indicate in the "file name" field the adress of your file inside the share folder. If there is other report that you need and does not be in the share folder, delete it.

Then try to run the report in the client workstation and prove it.

Unable to use crystal reports at the client pcs. This is working fine in the machine where the reports are being designed and deployed. But at the client machines we are facing the problem. Any help is highly appreciated. finding difficult to find the solution please.

hi, i´m in the same conditions and in all the web i have found three kind of files but any of them offer a solution, maybe i don´t know the correct procedure, so i need some help in order to solve this problem.
