ACE in CRM2007/7.0 or others methodology for access

Hi ,

Can we use ACE (Access control engine) in CRM 2007/7.0 or others methodology / tools in order to give access to a sales representative to the business partner he is responsible for ?

Any comment / experience is welcome . Thank you .

Note : in CRM 4.0 , we did modify (user-exit) the search for BP's and that is working well . ACE seems like a nice tool, but a lot of maintenance seems to be needed .
