We have scenario where 2 MRP areas in 1 plant. Both are managed with Reorder point and max. stock level.
Example:
Stock MRP area 1 - 5 pcs (Reorder point 4, Max. stock lev. 5)
Stock MRP area 2 - 3 pcs (reorder point 2, max stock lev. 3)
Created Work order (MRP area 2) creates Reservation per 10 pcs.(29.05) . After MRP run MRP area 2 creates Trans.Req. from MRP Area 1 per 10 pcs on 31.05 (Del.time 2 days)
MRP Area 1 creates PR (from ext. vendor) per 10 pcs on 08.06 (Del. time 10 days).
But actually system should take in consideration that material 10 pcs will be available only on 08.06. So, Transp. Req. (From MRP area 1 to MRP area 2) should be created on 10.06. (08.06 + 2 days Del.time.)
MRP of MRP area 2 should create TR with respective of available stock in supplying MRP area 1.
Could you review how it should be maintained in the system?
