Using SAP logonpad 7.40 We have an intermittent issue where the logon pad is randomly opened blank. Closing, reopening, sometimes two or three times often resolves the issue.
We are a global company, the ini file is located in USA, whereas my users are located in Australia. If I bring the ini file closer to the users, and modify the environment path using setx, the issue goes away completely.
There is a requirement to have one standardized ini file for the entire organization and its just easier to all use the same path.
Does anyone know of an issues with 7.40 or any considerations for placing the ini on fileservers that are approx. 200ms away from the users?
We do run Riverbeds in between all sites, but don't have any other issues like this.
Is this somehow expected behavior and this is documented and there are better recommended methods for distribution? Is this a known issue for this version of the client?
