    See https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/wiki?path=/display/erpfi/asset+accounting

There are some documents how to close the fiscal year for asset accounting

First run it as test run to see if there are errors

You have to run this as real run and in the background

In the job log you can see the result

It is possible that there is some delay before OAAQ is updated on al the servers

In that case you have first to complete the depreciation for 2007. This will create postings in 2007!! You have to open FI and CO for 2007 to!!

When you don't want to have them in 2007 you have to do a manual reversing in 2007 and post again in 2008.

The best is to close asap the old year when the closing is finished. (it is still possible to reopen the old year)
