What settings we need to check in SD module while creating the new plant.

Dear Friends,

If we extending(creating) the new plant what all the things that we need to check in sales and distribution module, what all the configuration that needs to be performed.

But it is not a manufacturing plant. All the service processes are takes place from this plant.

While creating the plant if we are copying from the existing plant, is that the all assignments are copying to the new plant or not?

Dear Hari,

You need to do the following settings for New plant after copying from existing plant in SPRO

1. Assign Shipping point to plant

2. Assign Picking location to plant

3. Shipping point determination

4. Maintain plant as a customer if STO process needs to be done.

Hi hari,

Just copy from standard reference and rename.Check all the dependent entries copied or not.

Go to assignment in enterprise structure and delete Dchannels which have been copied from original plant and save it.

even check for shipping points of the plants which have been copuied to ur plant.just delete them.
