activity confirmation

Dear all

Could you have a look at this question?

There are three activity types. they are for labor, machine

and overhead.

when i do the activity confirmation, only one activity type is entered.

that means i have to confirm the same activity three times to get the actual costs of labor machine and overhead respectively.

is there any possibilities that i confrim the activity once and get the actual costs of three activity types??

the working hours for the three activity types are always the same.

could you give me some hints on how to do it??

my client wants to make it simple.

One option is to have "activity elements" for machine and overheads.

Hi,

Hemant Vaskar has already given the answer, just elaborating the same. Create an activity with 3 elements. Dont assign workcenter to activity, instead assign diff workcenters (Labor, matl, etc) to activity elements. Confirmation of elements will result in actual cost, which can be viewed element-wise.

Hi,

whenever you are creating activity you are mentioning Work center, Activity type.

1) if you mentain three diff activity types to capture resp. things, then you need to maintain three activities since you can not mention three activity type for single activity,

2) if you maintain three activity type which inclued all activity types thenyou will not get seperately.

Note... if you are using costing sheet then no need to calculate Oveheads through activity, just maintain activities for Machin + labour ( seoerate cost element)

& other option ( combine man + labour) & maintain only one activity.

calculate overhead through cj44 ( actual overhead s - for Projects)
