POS Outbound

Hi,

can someone share with me what are the article master information that is in contained in standard POS outbound. Understand that not all fields in article master will be transfered to POS via standard POS outbound IDOC.

Hi,

Main fields are Price ,Taxcode, Artilce number, EAN number,Artcile descrption etc for more informtion you can see documentation of outbound IDOC (TCdoe WE60)

Plse go to WE60 and enter the basic Type WP_PLU02 , the standard Idoc Type for Article & Prices . See the documetation , you can see the Segments Structures , fields which are downloaded to POS

There are multiple Message Types:

Retail Article Master can use ARTMAS.

Price Lookup is the already mentioned WP_PLU.

Assortments are in the WBBDLD

So depending of the needs of the project, you want to consider also the other message types.

Artmas, if you want to connect other SAP systems,

PLU is the price lookup for the POS registers,

and the assortment is for store merchandise systems.

Some POS systems do create their own PLU based upon the assortment data. That is why you perhaps do not need to send the PLU information.
