Mergin data under one name to a change name

We have an employee that recently changed her name. Some records have had the old name still in the database. Is there a way in Crystal to merge the old names data to what the new name is so it displays all the data correctly under the correct name. Thanks

Ralph

What I have is a View that pulls data from a few different tables and puts everything into three columns. Name, WO number, Response.

In the report I group the data by Name and since some of the data had her maiden name it shows up twice on the report.

    Hi Ralph

As per the issue description, it seems that one of the Employee has changed her name and you want to display the data for the new name.

Please let us know the following information:

    - Have you updated your database with the new name?

    - If you have updated the database, what happens if you create a sample report using the same database?

    - Does it display the correct name with the correct data? If it dispalys the correct data then Set the Database Location for the old report.

    - Which connection are you using to connect your database with Crystal Reports?

    Hope this helps!

    Thanks

Instead of trying to merge the data in SQL or crystal, I just went ahead and changed the name in the fields in SQL
