which plant parameters one has to maintain for sd module? thanks...! (parag)

Hi parag kale,

The plant isn't an organization unit of SD, so you don't need to maintain any parameters of that. Of course you need a plant to sell, but you need to maintain any parameter of that.

Dear Parag,

As a SD consultant, needn't to maintain Plant Parameter, where the plant produces e.g.finished product. But for practice purpose we need to maintain Plant Parameter.

Go to IMG --> MM --> Physical Inventory & Inventory Mgmt --> Maintain Plant Parameter --> New Entries

Input your plant, which you defined in Enterprise Str. --> Definition --> Logistic General --> Copy, Delete, Check.. Plant

Then Save and exit.

Hi,

If you are using Plant purely for SD purposes, then you only have to define and assign the plant to correct organisational entities. In this case, you cannot do PGI as it will touch MM document creation.

If you want to do this also, then you need to do some basic customisation for plant in MM and FI side along with the accoutn determination OBYC on the MM side.
