How to show the percentage symbol in data for newly inserted column in analysis office workbook

Hi All,

Can anyone help us on how to solve the below issue.

Source: Bex Query, Cross tab report.

We inserted a new column which is used to calculate the percentage of other columns, it's calculating the data correctly but not showing the percentage symbol in data even we tried with new format for SAP data cell.

Below is the reference screen shot.

Hi,

Try to use Percentage functions to get % in the result .

From the context menu of KF, uncheck Display scaling factor and units in the header for all measures.

You should be able to format using the Excel formatting. Have you tried that?

Yes. We tried, it's showing percentage when we use the excel formatting but it's coming back to original format when we refresh the data source.

which version/SP of Analysis Office are you using?

We are using 2.5.100.1889 version.

FYI.. We inserted new column in between row and column in cross tab.

Hi Vijay - I can't replicate your problem on Analysis Office 2.6, SP3, the latest release; is there a chance you could update to that?

let me explain what we did in AO workbook.

We inserted a Bex query which is having cross tab report that you can see screen shot in question area.

We have a requirement to calculate the percentage of other columns by inserting the new percentage column after the row and before the other columns in cross tab.

As you know we tried in different ways but no luck.

Could you please try to insert the cross tab by creating it in source, if it is possible.
