Account Based COPA: Derivation from Material Batch Characteristics

Hi Gurus:

I need to derive batch characteristics from materials for all the postings from SD and FI. Each of the characteristics in MM is created as COPA user-defined characteristics.

I am checking on the user exit COPA0005, however, based on SAP Note 185826, the user exit is only available for costing-based COPA.

I couldn't find any other suitable user exit. My technical team is having hard time to find the correct enhancement as well.

Anyone encounter the same issue? Appreciate if anyone could help with the issue.

Any alternative EXIT found in account based COPA for COPA0005 ? I have to assign Customer field value from customer line item to revenue account line item.

Unfortunately no. In the end, we didn't proceed with the enhancement.
