Storage Location Determination - Sales Order

Hello ,

By default from where the Storage Location is picked up in Sales Order Item ?.

Is there any customising involved for the same.

SLoc is never picked up automatically in a sales order

Default storage location determination is not possible at order item level through configuration. However one can use user exit MV45AFZB USEREXIT_SOURCE_DETERMIN for the same.

Storage location is normally not determined in sales order

It is determined only in delivery

If you want storage location to be determined for sales order then you have to use user exit

If storage location is specified manually in sales order then it is copied into delivery

Otherwise it is determined using either MALA,RETA or MARE rules which we specify in delivery doc type

For sales order you have to use usetr exit in program MV45AFZZ or

To determine storage location in Sale Order, there is no configuration available and it has to be achieved using exit USEREXIT_SOURCE_DETERMINATION in program MV45AFZB

Dear,

It is comes from material master. When you create material, system give you the instruction for enter storage location for the material. Whenever you enter the material in sales order it will select storage location from material master.

Automatic Storage location determination in sales order is not a standard SAP functionality. It should be done only through enhancement by using a userexit. It is possible for deliveries and it can be done using the Tcode OVL3.
