Dear colleagues,
in the past accidentally some cost collectors were created with the controlling level Production Plant/Planning Plan instead of Production version. As a repetitive manufacturing process (make to stock) is in place I would like to have the same CO level for all cost collectors within the plant - production version.
So far I marked cost collectors for deletion (with Production Plant/Planning Plan) and tried to create new one but the CO level choice is inactive (radio button in Production Plant/Planning Plan predefined). The change of CO level with CKMLMV_CA is not possible since the Controlling level Production is locked (padlock).
Could you advise (step by step) how to change CO level from Production Plant/Planning Plan to Production version for existing (already posted but settled and marked for deletion) cost collectors within repetitive manufacturing (make to stock) environment?
Thank you
Regards
Sz.D.
Hi,
First of all, you need to finalize all operations in cost collctor and made settlement for them.
Mark the cost cost collectors for deletion.
Run the program"RKODEL01" in SE38.
Enter the cost collectors and delete them.
Now you can select new controlling level in CKMLMV_CA.

Hi,
The program "RKODEL01" is deleting the order completely so that I cannot check already posted values on cost collectors (historical). Is an another way to change CO level for material without loss of the historical data on the order (cost collector) in that case?

Dear Szymon Dyrda,
This is the only way that you can change the controlling level of a material. After creation of product cost collector, system does not allow you to change controlling level even if You didnot have any posting on it. To do that, You need to take the risk of losing historical data of previous product cost collectors'.
