Hello Experts,

We are working on Classic scenario.

After submitting SC, - SC status is approved and follow-on document is not created. If i check in RZ20 - i can see the error - the SC XXX Error creating the follow-on document . Its a local error.

I think i have done something wronge in Creating Number ranges in SRM as well as R/3 or Document type in R/3 or Transaction type in SRM.

Please guide me how to config this transaction type and document type and number ranges so i can create follow-on document.

Thanks in advance.

Akash.

Hi please check below steps.

1) Hope you maintained SC number range and assigned the same under Transaction type.

2) Maintain the number range for purchase requistions in SRM as same is to maintain in ECC as external number range for document type EC.

3) Assign the number range created for purchase requistion under following node..

SPROSRM>SRM SERVER>Cros-Aplication basic settings->Number Ranges>Define number ranges per backend system for followon documents.

Still you are getting the same error then please let me know

Thanks

Hi Akash,

Please maintain number range for PO in SRM system and maintain the same in ECC system as external.

please assign the number range in transaction type as well as define number range per backend for followon documents in spro setting in srm system..

then it should create a PO...

Thanks
