Dear Expert,
We have a case that the company is selling expensive product and allows customer to pay by installment.
As far as I understand, Invoice Schedule functionality is only for service, expense, entitlement or project based Product but not Product ONLY.
Is there any workaround to accommodate the requirement? Please kindly advise.
Regards,
Tandy
Hi Tandy,
I guess you mean paying by advancement (credit).
Is there a ByDesign specific question or is your question related to SAP CRM Service ?
Furthermore I don't know the connection between payment method and billing relevance of CRM items ?
Please advise.
Best Regards
Gerhard

Hi Gerhard,
No, I expect to have solution for invoice scheduling when selling product, therefore we can invoice several times. for example:
We sell Product for USD 100,000 and allow us to invoice customer 10 times @USD 10,000.
As far as I understand, It's possible to do it when selling service/project.
Best Regards,
Tandy
Hi Tandy,
in CRM you can setup a periodical billing plan to invoice 10 times @USD 10,000. Or if you want to invoice if the material or service is delivered you can create the invoice based on the relevant Sales/Service order or in case of materials you can bill based on the delivery note which are replicated from ECC to CRM. Consider the documentation of the field billing relevance in the customizing of a sales item category.
There are many option to design the required business process inside the CRM Standard functionality.
Best Regards
Gerhard
