    Hiii utkarsh inamdar

Actually there are two thing you have to manage to have any effect in PP for breakdown of equipment which is in production line. You lathe is actual main equipment & Contol panel & motor is sub equipment which are running lathe. I am not sure whether we can see the effect of sub equipment on production line. But for mainequipment do the following thing for getting (to see ) effect of integration in PP.

    1. Maintain the PP work center & update it in location tab at field "Work center"

    2. While creating breakdown order on main equipment, you have to maintain the system condition as system under breakdown.

Doing this you can definately see the effect of PM & PP integration. I hope this will resolve your problem. As always you are welcome if you cannot find my answer not suitable.

also refer the thread sa below.

    HI

    waht you maintained is correct.

1.check in ie02 workcentre in location tab should be PP work center and organization tab should be PM work centre

2.check both the work centres of capacity view details shoucl be ticked for relevent to finite scheduling and long term planning

3.check the formulas enterd in respective work centre are correct

4.you need to check the capacity of work centre in CM22 or CM28 or CM23 or CM50

    Hi Utkarsh,

Whatever settings you have done is correct. But the same wont block a PP order form release evenif the PP work center is taken for maintenance.

But before PP order release you can just check in PP planning table (CM33/CM50) and can see whether the particular PP work center is under maintenance or not.

Further if u want to block the PP order automatically (without checking the planning table) u may have to use user exits. Try PPCO0001 and PPCO0007.

    Dear utkarsh inamdar ,

System wont block a workcenter to perform operation even a breakdown maintenance order exists for that during the same period. Instead system will issue a information message that the workcenter is under maintenance .

Try to identify and change the message type to ' Error ' then I think system wont allow you release the order for which that workcenter exists. You can see the workcenter capacity for PM order and PP order in CM27.

    Dear Utkarsh,

Let clear one thing that the Equipement is work center for the PP and for Plant maintenance it is Equipment only. When creating order or plan some maintenance work on that equipement which workcenter for the PP. In PP module there is standard functionality Capacity planning of work center in Routing when your maintenance work is going on that equipement then work center capacity get reduced due to your maintenace work which will reflect in PP capacity planning. According that reduced capacity planning production order release.there is no std functionality as per my knowldge that you can intimate the PP that your work center is in maintenance not use it. It will reflect in capacity planning of PP routing.According dat reduced capacity PP plan the production scheduling.

      Hi,

I have 2 work centres, one for PP & another for PM.

Q1. Is it correct to have PM work centre as Machine?

Q2. When will I release my Preventive Maintenance Order for PP Work Centre?

Q3. In case, Production planning is happening for one month, how can I link my Maintenance Order with that planning. Even I will make it clear. For example, PP is going to make planning for June'2009. I have one maintenance of work centre on 18th June'2009. But Maintenance Order hasn't been created. How PP Planning will happen.

      Please clarify.
