A. Plant - setup as virtual location, where each site is setup as individual division ownership.
B. Storage location - setup as physical location. Each storage location can be setup in multiple plants.
Ex: Plant 1000 - Storage Location A, Storage Location B, Storage Location C - own by Div A.
Plant 1001 - Storage Location A, Storage Location B, Storage Location C - own by Div B.
C. Loading Group - setup by warehouse product type, ex: hanging, flat, footwear.
To my understanding, loading group hanging will be shipped out of storage location A, loading group flat will be shipped out of storage location B. However, physically, storage location A is running out of space and therefore there is a need to move some products from storage location A to B. This means that I have hanging products in both storage locations A and B of the same plant. When creating STO's, we need the system to automatically identify which storage location has the available inventory and allocate accordingly.
Questions:
1. How many shipping points can a loading group have?
2. If a loading group can have multiple shipping points, where do I view this or change this?
Appreciate any input.
