Inspection Lot

hi,

In QA32 status of inspection lot is CRTD CHCR SPRQ CTCM (inspection type 01)

here Inspection plan was not ready for that material.

so I created one inspection plan and tried to assign it in the change mode of that inspection lot

but it is not getting assigned; I don't understand what may be the reason for non assignment?

because before this I have done such assignments lot of times.

please help

Hi Vinay,

Check below listed matters.

- Valid from date for inspection plan must be later then then Inspection lot date. i.e. Check the inspection lot date, it must be prior then inspection plan's valid from date.

- The Lot size range you have entered to the Inspection plan must cover the Inspection lot size.

- Material must be assigned to the inspection plan, with proper valid from date.

I think you must have stuck in the Valid from date of inspection plan. To cross check the same. Check it this way.

- QP03--> enter the required details like Materials/Plant or Group / Plant.

- In the header screen, check what date is there for 'Valid from Date'. This date must be later then inspection lot creation date.

- If it's not, then go to QA02. Enter your lot number. and change the 'Key Date' for the inspection lot according to the inspection plan valid from date.
