reg date foramt in my form?

hi

i have to print date in a mm dd yy format in my smartform? how to set date mask?

    It can be done in different ways.

    Try to create program lines and write the following code.

    Data: Date(8) TYPE c.

    datum = '29122008'.

    date0(2) = datum2(2).

    date2(2) = datum0(2).

    date4(4) = datum4(4).

    Hi ,

    Format u specified can not be achieved usiong set mask ...

    use the offset to achieve thes ... date variable will store date always in YYYYMMDD form irrespect of the users format ....

    so u can write

    &date4(2)& &date6(2)& &date+2(2)&

    in date window , to get desired output ....
