No approval workflow found

Dear All,

I am working on SRM 5.0 Classic Scenario with ECC 6 as a backend system. I am having a problem in workflow. The organisation structure is aligned to ECC 6 with proper attributes. I am having two users say X and Y. Both are under same node with different sub node of purchase groups. Now when i create shopping cart with the X user login the system allows me to create shopping cart with proper workflow applicable. But when i try to create shopping cart with Y user login the system throws an error as No approval workflow found. With same workflow activated.

Now if I tried to create shopping cart with all the workflow disabled the system throws the same error.

Can anyone throw light on this so that I can fix up this for all users for that organisation structure.

Hi Vivek,

I think the problem could be with the agent assignment for the workflow task. If the workflow is getting triggered for user X and not for Y that could mean that the workflow does not have Y as the agent,

Do the following steps to check the workflow agent assignment:

1. Go to t-code PFTC. Select Workflow template and the enter the workflow number.

2. Go to Additional Data -> Agent Assignment -> Maintain

3. Check if Y is an agent for the workflow. Else Add Y as an agent.

4. You can also set the workflow template as a 'General Task' to allow any one to trigger it.

Hi,

Kindly check on the following notes:-

This might help u, since your WF triggers for 1 user and not for the other user.

1> Activate the workflow again, and check if the Workflow Template is assigned to any particular user or General Task as the Agent. Check the same in PFTC or assign the Workflow Template as General Task in the Agent Assigned for this Workflow.

2> Check the user settings in SU01.
