Anyone know how to correct the inconsistency after data transfer

After I finished the TDTIM package,we meet a problem

initial TDTIM package

Difference in table MBEW/MBEWH/CKMLPP/CKMLCR

The material ledger have inconsistency in the table list above.

I have send a message to SAP,they told me to run a BPL package.

The BPL package is very different from the TIM package.

Did anyone have experience on this?

Did the BPL package really can resolve the problem?

    Hello,

If the material ledger is not switched off during data selection there are bound to be inconsistencies. This best thing is to switch off the material ledger duing TDMS run

As for BPL there is extensive documentation available:-

You can find more information related to TDMS Business Process Library

(TDMS BPL) in the operations guide.

You will find the Master Guide and the (Solution) Operations Guide on

SAP Service Marketplace under /instguides (http://service.sap.

    com/instguides)

-> SAP Components -> SAP Test Data Migration Server -> TDMS 3.0

    Regards

    Raghuram

    Hello Raghuram R P

Thank you very much for your reply

Yes I have readed the operation guide carefully.

But also have some issues on the BPL package.

first on the activity setup BPL scenario I must choose a predefined Business Context, but the table which have inconsistency not including in the BCs,so I must use mass linking to attach these tables as customer entity.even I dis this ,there have 3 tables can not attached to this entity,it's informed this is not a start table and have no more information about this. I have no idea about this.

I choose the material document BC,and list below are our table which have inconsistency

    MBEW

    MBEWH

    CKMLHD

    CKMLPR

    CKMLPP

    CKMLCR

    MLCD

    CKMLKBPH

    CKMLPRKHKO

    CKMLPRKHPH

The last 3 tables can not attached to the entity.

Another question is the start data extraction activity take too long time,if I change the technical setting can improve this?

I meet a question in the BPL package.

I have set batch processes to run the start data extraction

activity and also set the parallel jobs parameter to 10 in the

technical setting. Why this activity just use one process to insert data?it takes 2 days just finished 10% data extraction?

      Hello,

please make sure that you have increased the numer of parallel processes per table AND the overall number of processes for extraction (which is 1) and please note that the number of overall processes can only be changed whe a new initial BPL package is created.

Regarding the 3 tables you could not masslink to the entity:

I can't find these tables in our system - please make sure that there isn't any typo.

Please note that by default only filled application tables (no views) can be linked to an entity - tables which are empty or are not in the scenario focus (e.g. customizing tables) are filtered out by default.

Some comment on your context selection:

The material document context contains a lot more tables and table relationships than you need for fixing your inconsitency.

Normally this context is used to copy single material documents, by following the built in relationship model (which requires a lot of single selections).

If you just want to copy the mentioned tables completely the "Empty context for customer" would be a better choice.

Just create a new entity in activity "Select Objects to be copied" (set it to "Copy tables COMPLETELY") and masslink the desired tables you want to copy.

      best regards,

      Nico Gärtner

    Hello,

unfortunately there is NO reasonable way to fix inconsistencies in Material Ledger after a TDMS run out of a system in use.

With reference to TDMS Master Guide any Transfer of data for a client with active Material Ledger can only be done out of a closed client (system not modifyable). No bookings should happen in sender client during run of Fill Header activities and Data selection.

Please create a new package and ensure that the client is completely closed while running the dependant 3 activities.

*Please do not switch off Material Ledger for transfer because this will have a serious impact on sender client.*

If it will not be possible to close the client , usage of any snap shot technique on storage level will be feasable.

    Best regards.
