there are two discount condition types(discount 1,dsicount 2) in a pricing procedure which applies to a item line with an discount field.
which condition type(discount 1 or discount 2?) will be used to determine the value of discount?
If both of them apply , then what's the sequence of the two conditon type?
thanks a trillion
Dear Humility,
If you have given valid records for both the conditions, system will determine both.
If you want a single condition value to be dermined in procedure then use condition exclusion.

Dear Humility,
A.which condition type(discount 1 or discount 2?) will be used to determine the value of discount?
-->Discount will be based on the Price of the product so you need to calculate the discount from the price.
-->Which condition type will be used again this will depend upon the business requirement.
For example
-->If the business requires two types of discounts llike Material discount for quantity and cash discount with percentage you need to consider two discount types to calculate the discounts.
K004--Material Discount (Quantity)
K007-Customer Discount(Percentage
-->If the business requires any one of the discount you can use condition exclusion option which is mentioned in the earlier response.
-->If the business requires only single discount you need to consider single discount type in your pricing procedure.
B.If both of them apply , then what's the sequence of the two conditon type?
-->Normally the discount will be calculated after excise duty and before tax so you can put these discount condition types after excise duty calculation before Tax condition types.
-->Sequence among these two discounts is not a issue you can maintain either one of the condition type first then second one in the next step if both will calculate from the same Base(i.e price)
I hope this will help you,
Regards,
Murali.
