Authorization for values attribute (characterstic)

Hello ladies and gentlemenu2019s.

The end users using attribute ZSALEORG (S.O.) in DP planning as a navigation characteristic. We need to restrict selection of the value of this attribute for different users. Can we manage with this by the authorization? Or maybe there is an other way to do this
