Sales Order with Bill of Material

Hi all,

I am having one query regarding t-code create Sales Order(VA01),

when i create sales order i am selecting BOM material which explodes to multiple level i.e the components too in turn have further BOM's

By selecting EDIT menu(Display Range) i can display only Main material

But client wants BOM of first Material and its components to be displayed only and the further boms of the components to be hidden .

Can we(Abapers) control with Badi or User-exists for this requirement

Get with your SD and/or PP consultant. This is an Item category / BOM set up issue, not ABAP
