Unable to Remove/Delete Product Category.

Hi All,

I need to Know how can we delete Product Category in system. It was initially created from Backend System which is SAP system and now we need to delete the same from SAP-SRM system, can anyone suggets how can we do it.

6. Deletion

In general, you must not delete master data in a PROD system, since objects

may be used in documents. Categories can be adjusted, for example, in the

extended attributes of the user. You can use the following reports at your

own risk to delete products and categories in DEV, TEST systems:

o COM_HIERARCHY_DELETE_SINGLE, COM_HIERARCHY_DELETE_ALL,

COM_PRODUCT_DELETE_SINGLE, COM_PRODUCT_DELETE_ALL

Deleted product masters (LVORM) must be filtered using BAdIs and be

downloaded explicitly using delta load (see Note 497101).

Hi Prashant,

You can delete the products and product hierachies using the reports suggested by Muthu. but if you want to delete specific product category then you have to delete in original system from where it has come.
