Hi Experts,

Could you provide solution for this error "First record may not be deleted (time constraint 0 or 1)"

Plz let me know what i need to do to do fo delete the Organizational Objects (O/S/C). I have come across the above error when i tried to delete the Org. Objects.

T582A is for PA infotypes

O/S/C)

here O is Organisational units

S is position

C is Job

through PP01 u can see OM infotypes but not PA infotypes

plse check the above said table or Tcode

Hi

Do you want to delete the object completely or partially delete the history of the object?

If you want to delete the object complete then there would be no error. But do it only in testing envirornment.

If you want to delete the history the system will throw the error if and only if you trying to delete the initial record the reason being, time costraint 1 (Record exists only once and no gaps allowed)

Let me know where you are facing this error?

Sorry for the delayed reply,

I am facing this problem in Dev. i have to delete them and i should set up the same structure, bcs transport request was desabled . So we have to capture in new transport request. Hence i should delete them and set up again.

Plz provide your valuable suggestions.

Time constraint 1 means No Gap, No Overlaps allowed

that is the reason it is not allowing to delete reconrds

If you changes the Time constraint of that infotype in t582a

It will allow you to delete

Check the tcode OOVK for time constraints for objects but be care full while doing deletion

I think ur trying to do delete some OM infotype in PP01

just change the time constraint and delete then restore the time constraing
