I am trying to understand the efforts and manual work it is going to take if we migrate from SAP PI 7.4 DUAL stack to SAP PI 7.5 SINGLE stack?
Below are the point I found, please check if these are correct and add if I miss something
CASE A - MIGRATING FROM PI7.4 DUAL STACK TO PI7.5 SINGLE STACK
1. Copy SLD of PROD system to new PI 7.5 system (prod, swc, tech system, bussi. system)
2. Create Business System and Business Communication system for Proxy and HTTP Interfaces
3. Create respective communication channels
4. Migrate Classical AND ICO Interfaces from PROD system to PI 7.5
5. Will Classical Interfaces migrated to ICO for HTTP, IDOC and PROXY interfaces smoothly; since this will not contain cc and sender agreement??
6. Which are other interfaces I need to focus on?
7. We have 5 6 ccBPM interfaces which I havent check yet weather this can be handled as bridge or not to avoid NWBPM development time
8. Am I missing any other critical or manual tasks which can be a show stopper?
CASE B - UPGRADE FROM PI7.4 to PI7.5DUAL STACK
1. Will it need any manual tasks from PI developer perspective?
2. We have few classical and few ICO in PROD system, will classical be upgarded as classical only and ICO as ICO on PI7.5 DUAL Stack landscape?
3. If yes then seems to be easy tasks to upgrade than migrate
Please share your points.
