Bhaskar,
First you need to check wether the content you are displaying are internationalized..
If your content is not internationalized then the default locale will be displayed which is in your case might be english

Bhaskar,
Go to Content Admin -> Portal Content Transition -> Transition Worklist coordination -> Select the content what you are displaying in the Content Area i.e Iviews or pages.
Here in the portal content create WorkList by righr clciking on some folder.
here add the portal content to this worklist.
After that generate the Transition Data. A button for this will be in the top left.
Then relaese for transition.
Here then Search worklist and define the source and target languages.
Then load the worklist for transiton .
Then transulate the worklist
Then mark the workklist as transulated
Then the final step is Publish Transition.
Thanks
Raju Bonagiri
Could you explain what type of content are you displaying?

Hi Bhaskar,
There are three reasons for the contents in the portal to get displayed in different language.
1 -- The language setting in the browser
2 -- language setting in the control panel -- regional and language settings
3 -- language setting in the portal.
when you create a user in the portal...you set the logon language...if you want to change it....go to identity management / user administration search for the user and hit modify and you will be able to change that....but the language setting in the browser surely takes the precedence over the portal language setting in the ume
By making these changes you should be able to view the whole contents in the Chinese language.

Bhaskar,
go to tools-internet options - Languages-make sure en is the first language in the list.
if these settings doesnot work go to user administration - select the user and check the Language under General Information
another option go to SU01 in the backend and select the user and make sure Language under Communications block in address tab is English
Thanks

Hi,
Are you changing Language of user at runtime?
Try F5 (refresh) and let us know the outcome.
