    Dear,

Plesse look into your master data for that component like Material master & in material master work scheduling view, BOM&routing.

If these master data are OK. Convsersion indicator should appear in Planned order.

check planned order type whether it is VP or LA and strategy group?

    Hi,

When MRP creates a planned order, the conversion indicator will be set automatically depends upon the planning strategy. But some of the planning strategy, the conversion indicator will not be ticked, once you enter the sales order, then only the conversion indicator will be ticked automatically.

Only when you are creating the planned order manually using T-code MD11, that time only you can select the tick manually.

    Regards,

    hi kim

This indicator specifies whether the planned order can be converted into a production order or a process order, or into a purchase requisition.

If the system finds a valid BOM for the planned order and if the release of the BOM for the planned order has been activated in the BOM status, the system automatically sets the conversion indicator in the planned order. If you have not activated the release of the BOM for the planned order, the system does not set the conversion indicator.

If the system cannot find a valid BOM, the coversion indicator is then also set, as production orders without BOMs, that is, without components, can also be created.

You can also set the conversion indicator yourself, independent of the BOM status, in the planned order.

    regards
