Hi
1. When ever more than 3 or 4 ODS activations runing in the production system, the PCD, any loads running at that time stops and fails due to time out error. The PCD system hangs. Even the refresh funciton takes infinite time.
2.When ever Production systems becomes less responsive, the Basis team kills all the Dialog workporcesse in the PCD. due to this we are facing ODS activation and load failures.
This has become routine since few days.
Can somebody suggest solution for this. To view the BTC job log we have SM37 Tcode. Is there any Tcode to view DIG job log.

If your ODS activation is taking time then there might be 2 reasons:
1 - The settings are not optimally defined.
2 - There occurs a lock in SM12.
Resolution
Try adjusting the time for ODS activations so that they don't clash
And please try to change the setting to Dialog in RSODSO_SETTINGS Tcode for the DSOs.
By the way you can check the Job details through SM37 and then knowing the server and WP number you can go to SM51 choose the server and go to WP and double click. it will show you is the job is actually progressing or not.
