Significance of Deletion flag

Experts,

Please tel me the significance of deletion flag in production orders.

In what cases we set the Deletion Flag??

    Hi,

    You can not delete the data's directely from the table. So once you raised the deletion flag, then those orders will be marked for deletion and deleted in the next re organization run.

    Hi,

    It is like cancellation of production order.If deletion flag is set to production order, in next reorganisation run, it got deleted.

    Hi,

    The CLSD and DLFL of production orders will work on same conditions and principles and pre conditions..

    But for Archiving and Deletion of Production Orders, DLFL is the first stage status.

    After setting the DLFL status only DLT (Deletion Indicator ) can be set and after that only deletion and archiving can happen.

    If you don't want to have the Deletion and Archiving of Orders then it is not required to set the flag DLFL.
