Service Desk in Solution Manager

Hi Team,

1. Having completed the basic config - when I create a message , can I assign the Business Partner or do I have to later retrieve the created message and assign it to the reporting BP?

2. Can I use service desk for managing the issues of a few reporting customers ? I am prepared to create the message at my end based on the email or call received from the customer.

Please advise...

    Whenever a message it created from the Satellite system or my customers, key users from thier workarea, appropriate BP should get captured my Solution Manager in the reported by field.

    2. Can I use service desk for managing the issues of a few reporting customers ? I am prepared to create the message at my end based on the email or call received from the customer.

    Yes. Service desk can be integrated with other SAP and non-SAP systems in the landscape and messages created by the customers will be centralized in Solution Manager.
