GR Posting Error

Dear All Guru's,

Please refer following error while posting GR.

PL suggest any soln.

Combination of plant BP17 and material type Raw materials does not exist

Message no. M3375

Diagnosis

You have entered a combination of material type and valuation area for the plant that is not defined in the system.

System Response

An entry made up of this combination is normally created automatically for all valuation areas in table T134M if you execute the function Edit material type in Customizing for the corresponding material type and then save your data.

The absence of an entry can be due to you setting up and assigning an additional plant to a company code. Although the system then determines the respective company code automatically, it does not create an entry in table T134M for the existing material types in this case.

Regards,

Vimlesh

    Hi,

Check whether MMR exists for this material and plant combination.

Also check in OMS2 that Qty/val update is there for the material type in your valuation area.

    Regards,

    deepak.

Thanks Deepak, it helped me a lot.

      Can you please explain

I had copied the plant from the plant belong to that company and maintained the same val Gr Code.

But i found out that qty and val tick are not as per earlier plants for all of the material type.

but still if the val/qty ticks are not maintained why system is showing the material type and plant combination error...though it can consider this as UNBW material and can still post the GR

and is material master record means matl master ?

also can you suggest the right method for coping the plant so i won't face problem like this.

      Regards,

      Vimlesh
