    Hi Kamal,

    yes this is possible.

You can use Bo BUS2075 to trigger the workflow. Create your custom event. You can use the user-exit M06B005 - EXIT_SAPLEBND_004.

Just trigger your workflow and use a send mail step to send the notification

Let me know if you have any queries.

    Regards,

    Raj

    Hi Rana,

Workflow is not only for sending mails there are many other functionality avilable to send mail (if you need to send mail only).

Inside the EXIT after checking the required condition you can use FM: SO_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1 to send mail to responsible person.

However if you need some more feature like if budget is less then take approval of the concern person then you must use workflow.

    Regards

    Hi,

For you requirement, no workflow needed. In the user exit write a program use the FM [SO_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1|https://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/x/nYKdAw] to send the mail.
