Send mail "Variable must not be entered in my fiels"

Hi,

Please I want to send a mail in my Workflow with task "send mail" and I need to send it to a personne who I have his username in a container, the mail must send to his inbox.

how can I pass a variable value in parameter.

    Hi Issam,

    To pass Parameters use the option Expression using this you can pass the parameter as scuch.

    To get mail id using user name use the following function module.

    HR_FBN_GET_USER_EMAIL_ADDRESS

    Hi,

    In the send mail step select expression and give the container name there.

    This should work.

    Declare a element in the conatiner of type SYSID and as you said that you have the person's sy-uname i mean USERID so

    all you to pass to the declared element is userid along with 'US'

    for e;g

    if user name is SAPUSER then in the workflow container element you have to pass as shown below

    USRID = USSAPUSER

    and in the mail step use EXPRESSION and assign this eleement

    Hi,

    Thanks for your help I m doing a countainer with element SYSID but I changed the type G to B to send the mail in INBOX.
