    Hello

There are following reason whay BOM is not getting selected during Process Order creation

1.In OPL8 , Selection of Production Version should be Automatic(0) .In case , it is already set 1 , which is manual selection of PV while creating Process Order .

2.Check the BOM Application :It should be PP01-Production Generel.

At user level , whether follwoing are maintained

    1.BOM usage should be 1 in CS01

2.It should be set status : 1-Active at Quanty/Long Text -BOM Header

3.Check the setting at MRP4-BOM Explosion/Dependent Requirement and Individual/Coll indicator

4.Check If BOM into whose lot size range the order quantity falls, the check the lot size range and area of validity of the BOM

5.BOM into whose area of validity the date falls according to the setting BOM via dates

6.If BOM defined in the valid production version ,the lot size range and area of validity of the production version

7.Check MRP relevancy for dependent requirements:Blank . This indicator controls whether dependent requirements are relevant to MRP or not. Dependent requirements include dependent reservations and stock transfer requirements

8.Check BOM has a deletion indicator/flag in Quaty/Long Txt in BOM header

    Regards

    Jia

    Hi Syed,

Request you to check teh Planned Order BOM Items and compare it with the Production / Process Order BOM items, both should be same.

In case after the Planned order is created if there is any change in the BOM that will not be flowing to Prod / process order unless to go and modify the Production version in PP READ Master of the Order.

    Regards

    Hi

If several production versions with overlapping lot size ranges and validity periods have been created for the material, you can select a production version after you have entered the required data on the Create Process Order: Header screen. To select a production version, proceed as follows:

    1. If manual selection of production versions has been defined in Customizing, the list containing available production versions is displayed directly. If only one production version exists, the system copies it directly instead of displaying it first.

If automatic selection of production versions has been defined in Customizing, choose Production version to display the list of available versions.

If required, you can choose Versions: overview to display a list containing all production versions for the material you selected.

    2. On the Select Production Version for Material screen, select the production version you want to use.

    3. Choose Choose to copy it to the process order.

If the settings in Customizing or the production version itself prevent the system from creating a process order for the data you have entered, the system displays a log.

If you do not want to select a production version, you must cancel order creation.

Hope this will solve your problem.

    Thanks
